After ESL 01, you can take the remaining five courses as they are offered. Overlap courses to finish faster or spread them out to fit your schedule.

The program provides practical, research-based strategies for teaching English Language Learners, including language and literacy acquisition, instructional planning, classroom implementation, and assessment.

The 18 credits may also be transcripted through Carlow University for an additional $200 per 3-credit course.

EASY CERTIFICATION PROCESS
After completing all six courses, apply through Pennsylvania's TIMS system to add the ESL Program Specialist certificate to your Pennsylvania teaching certificate.
A state licensing fee applies.
